Tanzanian music stars Diamond Platnumz and Zuchu have announced that they are expecting their first child together, marking a new chapter in one of East Africa's most talked-about celebrity relationships.
The 36-year-old Bongo Flava superstar shared a series of maternity photos featuring his 32-year-old partner, Zuchu, on Instagram on Thursday, July 30. Accompanying the images, Diamond wrote: "A new heart beats in the family," confirming the couple's pregnancy.
The announcement comes just weeks after fans were left puzzled when Zuchu publicly revealed that she had ended her relationship with Diamond.
The revelation followed months of speculation about the state of their romance despite the couple exchanging traditional wedding vows in June 2025 after dating for more than four years.
