Edtech firm Imarticus Learning has acquired Singapore-based BELLS Institute of Higher Learning providing it with access to learners in Southeast Asia, the company said on Friday.

The deal size is estimated to be around Rs 800 crore, according to sources.

"Imarticus Learning announced the acquisition of Singapore-based BELLS Institute of Higher Learning, marking its first international acquisition and a significant milestone in its growth journey.

This acquisition establishes Singapore as Imarticus Learning's hub for Southeast Asia," the company said in a statement.

With this acquisition, the combined entity -- with an employee strength of more than 1,100 employees -- will operate from over 25 offices across India and Singapore.
