MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has declared special non-working days in Davao de Oro, Nueva Vizcaya, and Davao City to allow residents to fully celebrate their local festivals and founding anniversaries.

Under Proclamation No. 1370, August 1, 2026, was designated as a special non-working day in Compostela, Davao de Oro, in commemoration of its 78th Founding Anniversary.

Meanwhile, under Proclamation No. 1371, August 7, 2026, was declared a special non-working day in Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya, for its town fiesta.
