Myriad Genetics Inc. (NASDAQ:MYGN) shares plunged 37.80% in Thursday’s after-hours session after the company reported second-quarter 2026 financial results that included lower revenue, an operating loss, reduced full-year revenue guidance and the suspension of its adjusted EBITDA outlook.
The stock closed Thursday’s regular session up 6.55% at $5.37 before falling 37.80% to $3.34 in after-hours trading.

Myriad reported second-quarter revenue of $190.7 million, down 11% from a year earlier, as lower prenatal testing demand and reduced average revenue per test weighed on results. The company posted an operating loss of $38.9 million and lowered its full-year 2026 revenue guidance while suspending its adjusted EBITDA guidance.
