The AI race has been about who has the best model. That is changing, and Amazon is well placed to benefit.
AWS grew 37% via Bedrock (multi-model access to Anthropic, OpenAI), while Amazon's foundation models (Nova) lag. The AI race now rewards controlling inference access to leading models over building the best proprietary model in-house.
