Saints wide receiver Chris Olave has led the Saints in catches and receiving yards in three of his four seasons since being drafted 11th in 2022 out of Ohio State. Chris Graythen / Getty ImagesJuly 30, 2026 5:24 pm EDT Updated The New Orleans Saints and wide receiver Chris Olave agreed to a four-year contract extension worth $132 million on Thursday, a league source confirmed to The Athletic.The deal includes $90 million in guaranteed money, the source said on condition of anonymity because details of the deal have not been made public.Olave is coming off a career-best season in which he tallied 100 catches for 1,163 yards (eighth in the NFL) and nine touchdowns. He has led the Saints in catches and receiving yards in three of his four seasons since being selected with the 11th pick in the 2022 NFL Draft out of Ohio State.The 25-year-old has missed time due to injuries in each of his professional seasons. By the end of his third season in 2024, Olave had suffered four documented concussions in the NFL. Last season, coming off two of his best games of the year, Olave missed the regular-season finale after being diagnosed with blood clotsThe Saints picked up Olave’s fifth-year option ahead of last season, which marked 2026 as his final year under contract.
