Director Scott
Scott directs and stars in the new visual with James Blake and Ludwig Goransson following the release of the film’s closing song
Amid the buzz surrounding The Odyssey, Travis Scott has released the visuals for “When I’m Home,” the film’s end-credit track. Created in collaboration with James Blake and Ludwig Goransson, the song was released on July 17, and now the accompanying music video has arrived.
Earlier this month on The Tonight Show, Scott revealed that he stepped behind the camera for the project. “I actually directed the video, which I’m so proud of,” he shared. This isn’t Scott’s first time directing; he previously helmed Circus Maximus, the companion short film to his 2023 album Utopia.
The five-minute visual follows Scott, Blake, and Goransson through a dark, cinematic landscape set in the woods, centered around a makeshift temple that eventually transforms into a fiery backdrop. Throughout the video, the trio performs their respective parts, with Scott blasting a flamethrower as the visuals unfold.
