The country musician burst into tears mid-concert before telling fans that she would have to end her performance early due to sickness.The singer, 28, was only three songs into her set-list at the Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado, having performed Stupid, Medicine and Bless Your Heart, when she made the sudden decision to end her performance early.As her voice cracked, she told fans she was too unwell to continue her set on The Cloud 9 Tour. In footage which has been shared by fans on social media, Megan said: "I am obviously extremely sick, and I thought I did everything to make myself better, and obviously, two songs in, I just can't play this show tonight."I want to give you guys the show you deserve; I'm probably going to go cry in my dressing room now," before she burst into tears, adding: "I'm sorry".But Megan was instantly offered support online from her dedicated fanbase, with one person writing: "OMG her crying makes me wanna cry I love her so much." A second penned: "She went out there and tried to perform even though she was sick for her fans. We don't deserve her.""I [don't know] who this is, but the courage to get on stage and make this announcement is incredible," commented another social media user. Megan later took to social media to share an update on the concert and the rescheduled date.In view of her 2.6million followers, she said: "Denver - That was the hardest decision I've ever had to make & I'm so sorry to cancel the show tonight."I never ever will give you guys a show that is not 100% and by song 3 I knew that I was not capable of giving that to you tonight. I'm typing this as I'm quite literally bawling my eyes out in my dressing room & it hurts me so much to disappoint you all."I will be back August 27, and all tickets purchased for tonight's show will be honoured for the new date. If you can't make the rescheduled date refunds are available at the point of purchase."I've never had to do this & I'm truly so sorry. I love u guys. Megan." Megan is due to perform at the Oregon's Moda Centre in Portland on August 1, with the tour concluding in Belfast on October 1.Megan's illness comes after Reverend and The Makers frontman Jon McClure revealed he had been hospitalised and was left "shook up". I had an accident yesterday doing summat [sic] daft on a scooter.
