Japan-listed Quantum Solutions sold another 1,000 ether (ETH) for approximately $1.9 million to help fund its AI data center expansion.
The company has now cut its ether holdings by nearly 30% since mid-June, simultaneously giving up its position as Japan's largest corporate ETH treasury.
GPT Pals Studio, a subsidiary of Quantum Solutions, sold the ether on Thursday at an average price of $1,903, according to a company filing.
Quantum said it expects to recognize a loss of around $100,000 on the sale.
The transaction leaves Quantum Solutions with roughly 4,765 ETH, dropping it behind Def consulting, which holds 4,976 ETH, among publicly traded Japanese companies.
