Homer City Generation, L.P., welcomed academic leadership, faculty and staff from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (“IUP”) to the Homer City Energy Campus on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, for a guided site tour showcasing the ongoing transformation of the former Homer City Generating Station into one of the nation's largest natural gas-powered energy facilities. The visit provided IUP attendees with a firsthand look at construction progress over the past year while also exploring opportunities for long-term collaboration that will support academic innovation, workforce development and regional economic growth.
