AI chip design startup ChipAgents has received an additional $60 million in an expanded Series 2A funding round, six months after its original Series A close.

In a statement, the company said new investor B Capital joins Bessemer Venture Partners, Micron, MediaTek, and Ericsson, who participated in the initial October 2025 raise.

This additional funding brings the total raised by ChipAgents to $134m, and will be used to support its next phase of expansion – scaling customer deployments, growing its engineering and go-to-market teams, and accelerating its platform deployments.

Founded in 2024 and headquartered in Santa Clara, California, ChipAgents’ offering claims to use agentic AI to accelerate RTL code verification, debugging, and design optimization, with its customers achieving 80 percent higher productivity in verification compared to standard industry practices. According to the startup, it saw a 6,377 percent increase in monthly usage of its platform in the first half of 2025.
