Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk stated that Warsaw will soon consider the possibility of supplying Ukraine with additional missiles for the Patriot air defense systems.
He made this announcement during a press conference at the site where an Kh-101 missile presumably fell in the Lublin Voivodeship, according to a Ukrinform correspondent.
“Following this incident, we will, together with the Prime Minister [Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense of the Republic of Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz], consider as soon as possible the issue of further assistance to Ukraine, in particular the transfer of additional missiles for the Patriot systems, should the need arise,” Tusk said.
He also noted that during Wednesday’s meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, they discussed the situation on the front lines and the prospects for ending the war.
“After my conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, the situation is quite clear: the next 100 days could determine the outcome of this war; it’s a 50-50 chance,” Tusk remarked.
