While announcing its first-ever loss in its mobile division, Samsung this week teased its Android XR glasses while also confirming the upcoming launches of Galaxy Tab S12 and Galaxy S26 FE later this year.

Samsung, the world’s largest smartphone maker, ran into its first-ever loss for its mobile division in Q2 2026. If that doesn’t make clear the impacts of RAMageddon, nothing will.

In its earnings call, Samsung offered a bit more detail around how it is responding to the market crisis and, in doing some, confirmed some upcoming releases.

That started with a mention of the upcoming Galaxy S26 FE, a device Samsung hopes will “drive volume market share growth” alongside the rest of the Galaxy S26 series.
