Hudson Interxchange has secured a new customer at its data center at 60 Hudson Street in New York City.
Cordiant Digital Infrastructure, an investor and operator of digital infrastructure, announced the signing of a new customer contract for the data center this week.
Along with an expansion order from an existing customer, the company expects these contracts, once fully deployed, to bring Hudson much closer to breakeven.
Hudson’s new customer contract is with a provider of high-density GPU cloud computing infrastructure for AI workloads, which means it is likely one of the neocloud providers.
The deal covers a five-year period and totals 1.8MW of capacity, with right of first refusal over a further 2MW. The contracted space is located in Hudson’s facility at 60 Hudson Street, which is considered the most interconnected commercial facility in New York, hosting more than 300 carriers.
