Xcel Energy Second Quarter 2026 Earnings Report

Xcel Energy Inc. (NASDAQ: XEL) today reported 2026 second quarter GAAP earnings of $586 million, or $0.93 per share, compared with $444 million, or $0.75 per share in the same period in 2025 and ongoing earnings of $589 million, or $0.93 per share compared with $444 million or $0.75 per share in the same period in 2025. See Note 6 for reconciliation from GAAP to ongoing earnings.

The change in earnings per share was primarily driven by increased recovery of electric infrastructure investments, partially offset by higher financing costs.
