Nara Smith recently opened about her daughter's cancer journey and why she shared the news months after the diagnosis.
Model and content creator Nara Smith shared her family's journey during the cancer treatments of her two-year-old daughter, Whimsy Lou, reflecting on the emotional experience they all went through once she entered remission.
During an interview on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast with Alex Cooper, she recounted the last day her daughter completed her treatment and rang the bell.
“Right after her birthday, she was in remission. We finished her last treatment, we rang the bell, it was very emotional, and I just realised, ‘Well, maybe if I use my platform to make even just one person feel less alone, I can do that',” Smith said.
The 24-year-old shared that throughout her daughter’s health journey, she constantly debated whether or not she should open up to the world about the diagnosis.
