Ahead Health has raised $10 million in funding, with 3VC and RTP Global leading the round, to expand into Germany and the Netherlands.
This new funding comes seven months after a $6 million seed round, as competitors such as Neko Health invest heavily in preventive care, including a $700 million commitment.
People in Munich can now book preventive check-ups, and the Netherlands has already started a waitlist ahead of its August launch.
Nick Lenten discovered the cause of his long-term lower back pain through an MRI scan at his own company. This experience is now central to Ahead Health‘s message: find what regular annual check-ups might miss. The Zurich-based company has raised $10 million in a round led by 3VC and RTP Global to expand into Germany and the Netherlands.
“We built Ahead in Switzerland to prove that prevention can be rigorous, fast and useful, and it works. Starting today, people in Munich can book a preventive check-up, and the Netherlands waitlist is now open. We’re assembling a leading team in European prevention, and we’re only getting started,” says Lenten, founder and chief executive of Ahead Health.
