In what’s being described as a “big win” for gay and bisexual men, Health Canada is planning to drop the remaining roadblock that prevented them from donating sperm.

In the face of a three-year-long legal challenge from a gay Toronto man who described Health Canada’s policies as discriminatory and unconstitutional, the agency has confirmed that it will eliminate the remaining screening questions about sexual activity, which still precluded some gay and bisexual men from donating.
