Eddie Howe has left his position as Newcastle United head coach following discussions with the club’s hierarchy, bringing an end to his time in charge of the Premier League side.
As reported by Sky Sports News on Thursday, the decision was reached after talks between Howe and Newcastle officials over the last 48 hours, although the manager had already started considering a potential departure several weeks ago.
Howe took charge of Newcastle in 2021 and played a key role in the club’s transformation, guiding the team back into European competition and helping establish them among the Premier League’s top sides.
