Enugu State has opened applications for 6,580 vacancies across its public primary and junior secondary schools, in a recruitment drive to staff the state’s 267 Smart Green Schools and strengthen basic education delivery.
Hyginus Banko, the executive chairman of the Enugu State Universal Basic Education Board (ENSUBEB), disclosed that the vacancies span academic, technical and administrative cadres, with applications closing on Friday, August 14, 2026.
