The trailer for the final season of Outer Banks sees the Pogues hit "rock bottom".08:53, 30 Jul 2026Netflix viewers are gearing up for an emotional final season of Outer Banks following the exit of a fan-favourite.Outer Banks is back on Netflix in August for a fifth and final season, following the tragic death of JJ (played by Rudy Pankow) in the season four finale.He was murdered by his own biological father, Chandler Groff (J Anthony Crane), who was reeling after JJ abandoned him in favour of his friends.Now, a full trailer has been released for the controversial final outing and it shows the remaining Pogues face the aftermath of their tragic loss.They are now outcasts, with their home destroyed, but they are not giving up yet as the trailer sees Kiara Carrera (Madison Bailey) determined not to let Groff win.Together, in one last epic adventure, the Pogues hope to win back The Blue Crown which, legend has it, can bring back the dead.Following the release of the trailer, fans took to the comments in their droves to all say the same thing about the show ending.They all exclaimed how they were not ready for the teen adventure series to end, with one saying: "Can’t believe it’s ending."Another added: "I’m not ready for it to end.
