The show is basically set in a post-apocalyptic future, where thousands of special operatives work to try and prevent the collapse of society. These operatives are labelled the "travelers".However, there's a twist, as their consciousnesses are transported back in time and transferred into the "host" body of present-day individuals who face the prospect of death.
