In the Zhytomyr region, two adults and three children were injured as a result of overnight Russian shelling.
According to Ukrinform, Vitalii Bunechko, head of the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration, reported this on Facebook.
According to him, during the Russian missile and drone attack, one of the agricultural enterprises in the Korosten district was hit. The blast wave damaged residential buildings and social infrastructure facilities.
“Unfortunately, three children and two adults were taken to medical facilities. Medical personnel are providing them with all necessary care,” the official added.
Rescue workers, law enforcement officers, medical teams, and local government representatives are working at the scene. Efforts are underway to address the aftermath of the enemy attack and assess the damage caused.
