Microsoft’s revenue rose 18% to $90 billion in the quarter ended 30 June 2026 because Azure grew faster than expected, newly installed computing capacity was quickly taken up by customers and Microsoft 365 Copilot added more than 10 million paid seats during the quarter. The company spent $41 billion on infrastructure during the same period and plans to spend more than $50 billion in the September quarter.
