Suspected terrorists believed to be loyal to notorious bandit kingpin, Bello Turji, have launched a deadly attack on Tsamaye village in Sabon Birni Local Government Area of Sokoto State, killing at least seven people, abducting several residents and rustling a large number of livestock after engaging security operatives.

Meanwhile, one group confronted security personnel deployed to the area, while the second group invaded the community, where they unleashed violence on residents.
During the raid, at least seven villagers were reportedly killed, while several others sustained gunshot injuries. An unspecified number of residents were also kidnapped and taken away by the attackers.
