A notoriously progressive Wisconsin brewery has had their license revoked after promising free beers for everyone on the day Donald Trump dies.
Minocqua Brewing Company - which sells individual beers celebrating everyone from Joe Biden to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez - initially took to Facebook on January 22 to offer 'free beer, all day long, the day he dies,' meaning Trump.
Earlier this week, owner Kirk Bangstad announced that the state's Department of Revenue planned to revoke his permit to operate starting August 4.
Bangstad – along with his liquor license lawyers – believe the move is ridiculous and politically motivated to target what he calls 'the state's most progressive brewery.'
'They both believe that someone in Wisconsin’s government is trying to make an example out of me, and they’ve told me to fight this with everything I’ve got,' he said in a Substack post.
