(NASDAQ:GCTK) shares surged 70.25% to $0.49 after the bell on Wednesday, following the announcement that its subsidiary, Lokahi Therapeutics, is advancing a simplified single-injection strategy for its LT-100 program.

Single-Injection Strategy Fuels Rally The LT-100 program is a clinical development project evaluating Apitox, a purified honeybee venom biologic, as a treatment for knee pain caused by osteoarthritis.

According to GlucoTrack's after-market announcement, nonclinical minipig data support evaluating LT-100 as one subcutaneous injection per visit, replacing a historical regimen of up to 15 intradermal injections.

The results follow a May 2026 Food and Drug Administration Type C meeting and are expected to inform clinical evaluation as early as the fourth quarter of 2026, with an initial readout targeted for the first half of 2027.
