With some teams already losing contributors for the season, that’s a welcome development.Nabers worked for the first 20 minutes of practice, participating in individual drills and routes on air (no defense). He looked sharp in both periods. He then watched a few periods before heading into the facility midway through practice. Nabers returned to the field after practice and played catch with quarterback Jaxson Dart. Harbaugh and general manager Joe Schoen were careful to avoid announcing any timeline for Nabers’ return, but the receiver’s showing on Wednesday was encouraging.Tight end Thomas Fidone and defensive tackle Sam Roberts were activated from the PUP list on Tuesday. Both players participated in position drills before sitting out during team periods. Roberts worked on a side field while the offense and defense squared off.
