After sucking up dust and debris, the device's mop pads take over to wash away anything leftover. Throughout each mopping session, the pads are continuously rinsed and refreshed. The dock helps keep the device maintained, giving you about 75 days of use before you need to change the bag in the dock and four weeks before you need to refill the mop water. The iRobot Roomba Plus 405 also includes LiDAR to map out each room in your home, so as to avoid any possible obstacles, like a sleeping pet or a staircase.
