July 29 (UPI) -- The late U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., went home to South Carolina on Wednesday for a local funeral in Columbia in which he was remembered by politicians, friends and family.
Graham died July 11 at age 71 from an aortic dissection due to arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease. He served four terms in the U.S. Senate. His Washington, D.C., funeral service was Tuesday.
South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster, U.S. Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C., and former U.S. Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., shared their memories of Graham during a funeral service at the First Baptist Church of Columbia.
