Data security company Cyera plans to acquire Oasis Security, a startup focused on managing non-human identities as enterprises increasingly rely on automated software agents to perform tasks, access data and make decisions.

Cyera plans to combine Oasis’s identity controls with its own data security platform, creating what the company described as a continuous trust layer that can determine who, or what, is accessing enterprise data and whether that access is appropriate, the company stated in a blog post.

Oasis employees will join Cyera following the deal.

Financial terms were not disclosed.
