‘Greed and incompetence’ likely contributed to Hull funeral director’s crimes

For three days this week a sentencing hearing at Hull Crown Court has heard harrowing testimony from the victims of funeral director Robert Bush. Described by families as ‘pure evil’, he faces prison time for 67 charges, including preventing multiple burials. In court today, his barrister said he was ‘sorry’ and ‘greed and incompetence’ likely played a part in his crimes.
