The Bauchi State Government has secured a US$91.6 million financing package from the ECOWAS Bank for Investment and Development (EBID) to fund 24 strategic road and bridge projects across the state.
Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir announced the development during a meeting with senior government officials at the state government house.
He stated that the investment will significantly improve and strengthen the state transport network, while easing the movement of people and agricultural produce. He further noted that the funding will expand access to markets and stimulate economic growth throughout the region.
The governor commended the management of the EBID for its confidence in the state vision.
