NTT Data signs 24MW wind PPA with Engie in UK, as part of broader partnership

Japanese tech firm NTT Data has partnered with Engie to power its data center portfolio with sustainable energy sources.

According to the companies, the partnership will see NTT secure long-term access to Engie's renewable energy and power solutions. The partners claim that the deal goes beyond a traditional supplier relationship, establishing a long-term framework covering renewable energy procurement, power supply, and integrated energy solutions across select priority markets.

As part of the agreement, the companies signed a corporate Power Purchase Agreement (cPPA), under which Engie will supply power from a 24MW wind farm in South Wales until September 2030.
