Fiber provider Swyft Fiber has acquired Fastwyre’s South Central fiber internet network to bolster the company's fiber footprint across the southern states.
The deal includes Fastwyre's service areas in Louisiana, Texas, and Alabama. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The acquisition is part of Swyft Fiber's plans to expand its footprint beyond its existing customer base in Louisiana, Arkansas, and Mississippi.
