Every Beefeater restaurant in Britain will shut for good on September 10, owner Whitbread has confirmed.
In April, Premier Inn owner Whitbread announced plans to cut 3,800 jobs and launched a new five-year strategy aimed at cutting costs by £250million.
A spokeswoman for Whitbread told This is Money that following a consultation a decision had since been made to shut all 106 Beefeater sites, as well as the group's other restaurant and pub sites.
The Premier Inn owner owns the Brewers Fayre and Bar + Block brands, which will also vanish.
All the group's 89 Brewers Fayre pub-restaurants will close on September 7, Whitbread's spokeswoman said.
