ROMA, 29 LUG - A female capybara cub named Nong Wan (R) and its mother Kait (L) eat various kinds of fruits and vegetables at Khao Kheow Open Zoo in Sriracha district, Chonburi province, Thailand, 29 July 2026. Khao Kheow Open Zoo welcomed a new member to its capybara family after the mother capybara Kati gave birth to a female pup named Nong Wan.
The capybara is the world's largest rodent, native to South America, with a heavy barrel-shaped body, short ears, no tail, and webbed feet for swimming. (ANSA).
