Telangana Mahila Congress president Errabelli Swarna on Wednesday condemned BJP MP and actor Kangana Ranaut over her alleged remarks against Gen Z women who protested at Jantar Mantar, describing them as ‘irresponsible’ and ‘uneducated’.In a statement, Ms. Swarna alleged that the protesters were subjected to a police lathicharge while fighting for their rights and criticised Ms. Ranaut for allegedly referring to them as ‘gutter chhap’. She said the remarks were unbecoming of a woman and a Member of Parliament.Demanding an unconditional public apology to the protesting women, Ms. Swarna said Ms. Ranaut should focus on raising public issues in Parliament instead of insulting women.
