Agon has secured $30 million, making it one of the biggest defence tech seed rounds in Europe this year.
The funding comes from a $7 million pre-seed round and a $23 million seed round, with backing from Lakestar, Lux Capital, Northzone, and XYZ.
Agon’s founders have experience leading European operations at Anduril and Applied Intuition, and they also co-founded Cambridge Aerospace.
Most autonomous weapons and command systems use AI, which needs high-quality training data. In defence, this data is hard to find, often classified, and scattered across countries unwilling to share it.
