Sen.

Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) suggested she has a "theory" behind why President Donald Trump declined to sign a bipartisan housing bill that later became law anyway.

In an episode of All In with Chris Hayes on MS Now, on Monday, Warren questioned Trump's refusal to sign the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act, a bipartisan bill that passed Congress overwhelmingly and became law automatically without his signature in mid-July 2026.

"He doesn't care about families in America; he doesn't care about their costs; he doesn't care about how they are struggling," said Warren.

She added that Trump also doesn't care about the Republicans in the House and Senate who could have at least said they have got "one thing" done besides a tax break for billionaires.
