Tom also starred in Peep Show among other movies and TV shows in his lengthy career.A post from Fantom Events, who he was a client of, announced his sad death. The statement read: "We are sorry to hear the news that Tom Chadbon passed away last weekend."Tom was a familiar face to many from his numerous television and film credits, including Doctor Who, James Bond and Game of Thrones. He was always a warm and friendly man to work with and we send our condolences to his family at this sad time."During his lengthy career, Tom appeared in numerous shows. He had guest roles in the likes of Sherlock Holmes, Midsomer Murders, The Bill and Foyle’s War. He also had a regular role in TV show Where the Heart Is.In Doctor Who, he played various characters, including fan favourite Duggan, in a career which saw him have over 120 screen appearances to his name. One of his last roles was as High Septon Maynard in Game of Thrones.Tributes have flooded in for Tom, with one writing: "Oh I’m so sorry to hear this. He was a great actor. RIP x." Actress Lisa Bowerman, who starred in Doctor Who alongside him, added: "Oh no… I hadn’t heard. How incredibly sad. He was wonderful."Tom Baker, who played the Doctor in the hit BBC series, starred opposite Tom, who played Duggan. Speaking about working together in 2009, Tom added: "Oh, and Tom Chadbon was terribly funny. Terribly funny! I used to love the other actors – I was always trying to help them make things funnier, or more dramatic."Writer Cavan Scott shared: "So sorry to hear the passing of the great Tom Chadbon who I shared many a happy studio session with while producing Blake’s 7, not to mention the storyfilled meals after recordings.
