Beast Foundation scholarship recipient Ethan Makombe is in his matric year at Reddam House Helderfontein and plans to pursue studies in project management and the logistics sector after school.
Three recipients of The Beast Foundation's high school scholarship programme have reached key milestones four years after being awarded fully funded scholarships to attend Reddam House Helderfontein.
The scholarships, awarded in partnership with Inspired Education Group in 2022, covered tuition, boarding, uniforms, stationery and textbooks for Ethan Makombe from Durban, Njabulo Zulu from Johannesburg and Tshenolo Gaesenewe from Potchefstroom.
Gaesenewe completed matric at the end of 2025 with four distinctions in History, English First Language, isiZulu First Additional Language and Life Orientation. She has since been accepted to study law at the University of the Witwatersrand.
Reflecting on her time at the school, Gaesenewe said the scholarship had changed the way she viewed herself.
