Veteran performers Desmond Dube, Russel Savadier and Brendan Van Rhyn are among the cast announced for Joburg Theatre's festive production of Alice in Wonderland.
Joburg Theatre has announced the cast for Janice Honeyman's 2026 festive pantomime, Alice in Wonderland, which will run from October 28 to December 24.
Based on Lewis Carroll's classic novel, the production follows Alice as she enters Wonderland after following the White Rabbit down a rabbit hole, meeting characters including the Mad Hatter, Cheshire Cat, Caterpillar and Queen of Hearts.
Ashley Scott will play Alice after previously appearing in The Sound of Music, Disney's The Magic Box, Chicago and Pretty Woman.
Desmond Dube returns for his eighth Janice Honeyman pantomime, taking on the role of Dame Nanny Fanny Floppalot.
