Diamond Power Infrastructure has raised Rs 1,614 crore through a qualified institutional placement. allotted 7.11 crore equity shares at ₹227 per equity share to qualified institutional bidders.The price was discounted by ₹11.92, or 5 per cent, from the floor price determined under SEBI regulations. The Issue opened on July 23 and closed on July 28.The participants in the issue include FII Capital International, HDFC Mutual Fund, Motilal Oswal MF, HSBC MF, Goldman Sachs, and Mirae Asset. The bankers for the issue are Monarch Networth Capital and IDBI Capital.The paid-up equity share capital of the company increased from ₹52.70 crore to Rs 59.81 crore.The overall equity base will increase from 52.70 crore equity shares of ₹ 1 each to 59.81 crore equity shares.The proceeds from the fundraise will primarily be used to repay certain outstanding borrowings, strengthening the company’s balance sheet.Earlier this month, the company received a contract confirmation/letter of award from Adani Energy Solutions for the supply of AL59 Moose and AL59 Zebra conductors.Diamond Power Infrastructure is an Indian manufacturer of power transmission and distribution equipment, headquartered in Vadodara, Gujarat.Published on July 29, 2026
