President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has condemned the attack on residents of Naridon Village in Kamaru Ward, Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State, which left about 30 people dead, including women and children.
The President described the incident as a “barbaric and cowardly attack” on innocent citizens, saying those responsible for attempting to destabilise the peace and security of Kaduna State would not escape justice.
In a statement issued on Tuesday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu described the attack as an unprovoked act of terror against defenceless residents.
“The attack on innocent citizens in the early hours of Monday led to the killing of about 30 residents, including women and children, and the burning down of their houses,” the statement read.
