The CEO of Fire Point discussed European missile production, Freya and where the company sees itself after the war
The vast majority of European countries are interested in localising production of Fire Point’s missiles and drones, but bureaucracy is slowing the company’s expansion across the continent, the CEO of the Ukrainian manufacturer told Euractiv.
“We have a lot of requests from different governments to localise our production there,” Fire Point’s CEO Iryna Terekh said. “I would say the majority of European countries are interested.”
However, that is not as easy as it seems.
“European bureaucracy is a greater threat to Europe’s defence than the Russians. With Russians, you can deal with missiles and drones, but how do you fight European bureaucracy?” Terekh asked rhetorically.
