MANILA, Philippines — Face-to-face classes on Wednesday, July 28, were suspended in some areas due to heavy rainfall brought by the low-pressure area (LPA).
As of 7 a.m., classes in public and private schools are suspended in the following areas:

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration reported in a 5 a.m. weather advisory that the LPA may affect Metro Manila, Bicol Region, Calabarzon, and parts of Mimaropa, bringing rains and gloomy skies on Wednesday.
