MANILA, Philippines — Vice President Sara Duterte on Tuesday said she is set to meet with politicians and individuals “supporting” detained politicians upon her return to the country.

Duterte said this in a chance interview in The Hague, Netherlands, after saying that she intends to speak with Sen. Rodante Marcoleta again once she returns to the Philippines.
“I visited [Marcoleta] immediately after he surrendered to the court, and I will speak with him again very soon when I return to the Philippines,” Duterte said in Filipino in a chance interview in The Hague, Netherlands.
