Updated July 29, 2026 — 8:03am,first published 7:21amA man has died after a collision between a ute and a car, south-west of Brisbane, with two others rushed to hospital in life-threatening conditions.A Ford Ranger and a Hyundai i30 were involved in the crash on the Centenary Highway near the roundabout to Ripley, just before 9pm on Tuesday night.The incident is being investigated by forensic crash police.Nine NewsThe driver of the Hyundai, a 35-year-old Plainland man, died at the scene.His passenger, a 30-year-old woman also from Plainland, and the 18-year-old South Ripley man driving the Ranger, were taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane, both in life-threatening conditions.From our partners
