Justin Herbert finally has a ring – an engagement ring, that is.Singer Madison Beer announced her engagement to the Los Angeles Chargers star quarterback on July 28. The couple shared the news in a joint Instagram post with the caption, "meet my fiancé."The Chargers were quick to jump on the news, sharing a congratulatory post on X.It marks the second major wedding-related announcement in the NFL this offseason after Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift tied the knot on July 3.Madison Beer, Justin Herbert dating historyHerbert and Beer were first spotted together in Aug. 2025 and at various sporting events in the Los Angeles area in the months that followed.The Chargers star has been considered a mostly private person that was all about football, but that has changed since his relationship with Beer became known. Herbert elected to skip organized team activities (OTAs) earlier this offseason to support the singer for the start of her "Locket Tour," a move that made Chargers coach Jim Harbaugh happy.Herbert also appeared in the music video for her single "lovergirl," which shows the couple cozying up to one another on the beach, sharing a photo booth and more during the course of the nearly three-and-a-half-minute song.Herbert is hoping for some better fortune in the 2026 NFL season after an up-and-down campaign behind a banged up offensive line last year. With some better blocking and a new offensive coordinator in Mike McDaniel, the Chargers might be a team on the rise.
